From November 21 until December 13, 2009, Rien Verschuur had his bi-annual exhibition in the Amsterdam tradition.

The whole world is occupied with the financial crisis, but there has been absolutely no crisis in Rien's development towards new fields in the art of painting. Again he has widened his boundaries.
The vernissage featured live music performed by Rien's friends Joep van Brederode, violin, Ans Lobbes, keyboard, and Ruud Lobbes, accordion.
